The annual gorgefest is ongoing. With food and drink tickets at fifty cents a pop and over $3 million dollars worth expected to be sold its a heluva lot of calories going into Americans' already expanded waistlines.
I wonder when America is going to wake up. Obesity costs the economy bazillions of dollars in lost time at work, added healthcare expense, and other categories as well.
The swelling girth of Americans seems tied into the sedentary practices of electronic entertainment. Coincidentally perhaps, but there it is. Thanks goodness for Musikfest where at least people walk around a little bit!
